Kathleen Coleman-Cooke
I work across all age groups as a Person Centred therapist.
Over time I have gained a vast amount of experience working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages experiencing trauma, abuse and debilitating difficulties.
I also support adults, children and young people clients who have neurodivergent characteristics, which could include some Autistic, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexic, Dyspraxia or other traits.
Working predominantly in a ‘person centred way, simply means that I take each person as an individual, carrying no judgement and offering unconditional positive regard.
I have a private therapy room which I can adapt to suit each individual and what is needed at any given time. This may be using play therapy, incorporating art, changing the lighting or allowing you to move around rather than sit still.
I am, an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Qualified to work with children, adolescents and adults. I work on a face-to-face basis or online or a combination of both, I offer short to long term work, according to what is right for you.
